Director of Wireless Connectivity Group Dell Corp.
Frank Hanzlik is Director and GM of the Wireless Connectivity Group at Dell. With over 20 years of experience in the wireless industry, he is responsible for leading wireless product marketing and development for Dell's mobile consumer platforms. Prior to Dell, Frank was Managing Director of the WiFi Alliance, the global trade association for the WiFi industry. Before his time with the WiFi Alliance, Frank held senior marketing, product management, and sales roles at Mobilian (a fabless semiconductor start-up acquired by Intel), Dell, and Motorola.
Frank holds an MBA from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg School of Management and an undergraduate in Business Administration from the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign.
Vice President of Marketing, Wilocity
As Wilocity's Vice President of Marketing, Mark leads the company's global marketing, product definition, strategic alliances and marketing communication for the company's introduction of groundbreaking wireless technologies to consumers and businesses. With a background in both engineering and marketing management, Mark has spent the past decade immersed in the wireless networking industry and has played leadership roles in guiding WiFi development through his participation on several industry boards and standards bodies. Mark currently serves as the Marketing Chairman and Board Member for the Wireless Gigabit Alliance, which was formed to establish a unified specification for 60 GHz wireless technology. Mark is also the Chair of WiFi Alliance's 60 GHz Gigabit Wireless Marketing Task Group. Prior to that, Mark was the Chairman of the Enhanced Wireless Consortium and of the WiFi Alliance (TGn) Marketing Task Group.
Mark joined Wilocity from Intel, where he led the product definition and marketing activities for Intel's line of 802.11n WiFi products, for the Centrino mobile technology platform. Previously, he was a Product Line Manager at Mobilian, a start-up company making WiFi and Bluetooth chipsets and software; Mobilian was acquired by Intel in late 2003. Mark holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), as well as a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from the Harvard Business School.
EVP, Chief Marketing Officer, Bite Tech
Mark has 20 years of global experience selling, marketing and managing world-class brands in the sports, entertainment and consumer goods industries. Mark joins Bite Tech from OptionIt, an innovative start-up in the ticketing industry, where he was the CEO. In this capacity, he raised capital, signed partnerships with the San Jose Sharks, Boston Celtics, and Baltimore Ravens, and launched the business. Mark's earlier career includes over ten years of experience in the footwear and apparel industries, with five years of global marketing experience with Nike. He also held a senior business development role with the National Basketball Association, and was the head of sports, entertainment and digital marketing for the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company. Mark has appeared on CNBC, in the Wall Street Journal, and is a frequent guest lecturer at Harvard Law School. He has a B.A. and a M.A. from Stanford University. At Stanford, he was an All-American, sub-four-minute miler on the university's Track and Field team, where he qualified and competed in the 1500 meters at the 1992 Olympic Trials.
Vice President & General Manager – Northwest Transit Division - Portland, Oregon, Lamar Transit Advertising
The out-of-home industry has played instrumental chapters in York's professional career, including buying billboards as a marketing executive for hotel companies, and as a paid lobbyist who successfully defended the rights of billboard owners in numerous battles. With Lamar, York has served as Director of Transit & Development, dealing with public agencies in an effort to obtain long-term contracts for out-of home products. Currently he serves as a member of the American Public Transportation Association and is an active member of the marketing committee. Throughout his advertising and marketing career York has received numerous national awards for creating successful out-of-home advertising campaigns created on behalf of United Way and the hospitality industry. In Oregon he received acclaim from Governor Tom McCall for helping to create the first of its kind tourist information program located off interstate highways throughout Oregon. York enjoys spare time activities like travel, gardening, tennis, golf and skiing. He is a business graduate from St. Martin's University in Olympia, Washington.
